Sri Subramanya Charitable trust, is home to several underprivileged children in and around the villages of Ayikudi township which is located in Tamil Nadu, South of India. 

We have been mentoring girl children of different age groups and helping them develop fluency and proficiency over the English language.

We curated content and delivered them in the form of simple worksheets, games & quizzes. Grammar, reading comprehension, short passage writing etc. have helped these children build more confidence when they communicate in English.

Every girl deserves to follow her dream because Girls Are Powerful!

As part of this signature initiative we spend time with several girl children dwelling in remote villages of India, educating them and creating awareness about periods and the importance of menstrual hygiene. We share content in the form of comics, flash cards etc. to create easy understanding

FUND RAISING

Launched two different fundraising campings

Supporting a girl's education:  She belongs to a COVID victim family. The fundraising effort started through Ketto raised USD625 to pay for first-year tuition and other educational costs.

Supporting Social welfare and educational programs at the NGOs - Amar Seva Sangam and Shri Subramania Trust: Raised USD1275  through GoFundme and other informal crowdfunding sources
